Larry- I'm so sorry you were robbed of what should of been a long life. You are strong, courageous, beautiful, and will always forever be in my heart. I can only hope Brandon never see's anything other than the bars that surround him. When released, in 19 years, he will be introduced to a different world. A world with compassion, a world where anyone can love whom they want, and can be their true selves. A world that will ALWAYS remember Larry!!!

Just finished watching Valentine Road. I am in tears, as an individual who came out at a younger age Larry's courage and pride as told by his friends affect me very much. Brandon most definitely should have been charged with first degree murder, he had multiple opportunities to stop and choose not to murder his classmate, yet he looked Larry in the face and shot him twice. this is unthinkable, yet the defense blamed the victim for his own murder!! it astounds me how homophobic opinions can be twisted enough to stain a court case that could have actually brought Larry and his family/friends peace. now we all have to live knowing that Brandon gets to walk out of prison, alive and breathing, while Larry's life was ended right as he was beginning to truly live as himself. and Brandon's half brothers comments about how prison will stop Brandon from experiencing "normal" teenage shenanigans - your brother MURDERED another child. #justiceforLarry

Such a tragic, heartbreaking story. Larry, I weep for you. My heart is heavy for you, your family and everyone involved in this tragedy. As a country, as a community, we need tolerance. Larry, thousands upon thousands were touched by your story and spirit that will never die. We will never forget. We will keep fighting and supporting. I will until I die. Your story touched my heart. May you be resting in peace. To Brandon, and his family. My condolences go out to you as well, you have to live with this for the rest of your life. You get to LIVE.I am one to feel that Brandon needs to be in prison for the rest of his life. For anyone who cannot see that I feel sorry for you. Larry won't get a second chance. His life was taken away so maliciously. Gone far too soon. RIP.

I dedicate the new musical, New York Society for the Suppression of Vice, with it's themes of tolerance and acceptance, to the memory of Larry.

Today is the anniversary of Larry's death and I've shed tears today. As a member of the LGBT community this is personal to me. I know that Larry is in a better place but he didn't have to die like this. I pray he is resting in peace and for all those who were there that day.

I just watched the film Valentine Road and am deeply saddened by the tragic killing of this young boy. At first I felt hatred for the people that were supporting his killer saying that he was being taunted & harassed by Larry as though the killing was actually Larrys own fault, but now I just feel sorry for all of them. RIP Larry.
