I never met Larry. I didn't know who he was until I turned on CNN tonight. And even though I never met him, and had only been aware of him for 2 min, he made me cry. My tears were a mixture of feelings. Happiness that such a courageous young man had been alive, however breifly. Anger that someone could have done that to another person. Fear that it could happen to any one of my many gay friends. Sadness that this world still has so little understanding. Love for Larry's family and all families who support their children, gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered... And Hope. Hope that Larry's story will continue to inspire people to be more accepting, understanding, and less hateful to one another. I will pray for Larry's family tonight, I will pray for all the magnificent children who are like Larry, and all of the families of those children. May they all be proud of who they are. And I pray that wherever Larry is, he is proud of who he was and the life he lived. God Bless.

i wanted to say that someone being gay is no reason for killling them.i have a daughter who is gay and i love her very much.i feel that people wanna judge to much now a days and they all need to be concerned more about other things then ways to plot and kill people whom are gay.it sickens me that gay people almost do not have any rights and that is so wrong.to larrys family.i am so sorry for your loss and i hope that you continue to fight for the rights of gays so they can live and lead normal lives like the rest of the word.i hope that larry knows we all fight for rights of the gay and that we know he did not deserve to die the way he did.

Just saw your story on CNN. I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to young Larry. I know that no court case or jury can ever bring him back, but I want you to know that I will be following this story closely from now on. It is a sad sad day when another student can get away with such a horrid crime in a room with many other students, and just walk away. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

this is a huge tragedy in america for our rights as gays & for those who continue to be hated on by fellow students. may our creator hold larry & his family close as the loving & decent people of america mourn this horrible loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the fobes king family. I have five children and do not cannot fathom what it would be like for one of my children to be taken away from me in such a violent and horrific way. May god give you the strenght you need to move foward in life and find the resignation you need to continue in life. Larry had so much happiness that although he is not with you in body please rest assured he is with you in spirit and his memory will live on forever. God blessd

I just learned of Larry's story, and was so overwhelmed by emotion of what happened to this poor young man. He and his influence on the world will be missed.
