Dear Lawrence "Larry" King, I never knew you, I was never friends with you on MySpace or FaceBook, and it wasn't until recently that I was told about you; but the moment I listened to your story, and I learned what was done to you, I wept. I wept for people like my two openly gay mothers, and for Matthew Shepard, and Sean Kennedy. I wept because you gave your life so that something beautiful could happen. It is a desperate shame that you never got to see hate crimes such as your own enter the constitution. As many before me have said, I also love you, and I miss you. I miss the laughs we will never have gotten to share, or the smiles I could have given you. I hope you are enjoying yourself, wherever you are now. Love Forever and Always, Amber, a friend. 15, FL.
