To the King Family: I am so so sorry to hear about your loss. I just found out about what happened to your son. I am very familiar with losing a loved one. I lost my 19 year old brother on March 10th, 2006. His name was Joel. He died in a car wreck. I know how tough it is. I am still taking Joel's death pretty hard. He was my only sibling. I pray that God will heal your broken hearts in time. May God bless your family. Please keep this message private. Do not post this in the guestbook. Thank you. . . God Bless! Erin M.

I am very sorry about Larry. He seemed like a wonderful kid. I love that this page is set up to remember him. I have experienced the harrassment that kids get and it shouldnt be happening. I want to help to put an end to it. I will always keep LARRY in my thoughts and will think of him when i am moving to stop the bullying.

I'm so sorry Larry for what has happened. I wish you a life in peace and love where ever you are. Your friend has not had the chance of enjoying a good family however it doesn't justify his anger. I'm also sorry for the sorrow he has right now. But the heart of gays is always warm with love so lets forgive Brandon.

It makes me really angry that there are people so ignorant to take out their anger towards another person; even on a child there age....hopefully people will grow up and respect others..i did not know this little boy either...but it really does upset me when our younger generation can not accept or does not want to accept....

i read all the stories about this and it made me so angry. today is Day Of Silence, and yesterday somenone asked "why are gay people so special?, they get a whole day to themselves, why don't straight people get a day for themselves" and i replied "heteros do get days for themselves, it's called EVERYDAY!!, would you like to be silent for 364 days a year?, i didn't think so". i wish this would stop

I couldn't even begin to tell you just how sad I am to hear this. So this is why I am making it my mission to teach tolerance in our schools. I am a senior in high school. My speech teacher gave us a project, choose a topic of something you think should be changed, I chose hate crimes. I am making a video to emphasize my point. I am going to feature Larry, along with a few others who have had their lives cut short because of the misunderstanding of someone who does not know tolerance among the gay community. I am bisexual, I did not choose this path, this is the way that I was born. i grew up in a homophobic household. I want you to know that your son was brave and did not die in vain. I hope you're doing well. xoxoxox, Axelle Marie P.S. He is one of my main reasons I am participating in the day of silence.

Larry, I did not know you, but I am sorry you died because of a hate crime. It takes courage to really show yourself and I'm glad you were proud to be gay. I hope one day I will stop hiding and truly be myself Thank you Larry, your story has taught me to not be ashamed of being gay. Rest In Peace

I would just like to say that I am deeply sorry for the loss of your son. My girlfriend and I are approached daily, being told we're going to hell for what we are. I am doing an extensive project based on your son and the Murder, and I hope it will raise awareness as to the amount of prejudice that exists in our world today. I just wish I could see it all stop. Thank you so much for creating this site and giving us all hope.
