On Sunday, I watched Milk at a local theater. Later that night, I was happy to see Sean Penn receive the Best Actor Oscar for his role as Harvey Milk, himself a victim of heinous hate crime.
Last night I watched as Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity manifested on the air their bigoted displeasure and unacceptance of Mr Penn's victory and his plea for the end of discrimination of gays.
Then, I learned about Larry's death at Ellen DeGeneres' site.
As a spiritualist, I'm aware of the probable past lives causes of Larry's short stay this time around, but I'm sure he has courageously agreed to pledge his short life as an invaluable contribution to help end people's intolerance and foster the full acceptance of human diversity.
My solidarity and prayers are with the King family. And my thanks, with Spirit Larry for his willingness to give up material life for a good cause, notwithstanding the pain associated with his gesture.
