I just wanted you to know that people do care about you and about Larry. We need more kindness in this world and less intolerance, hopefully that is where we are headed as a society. I wish you peace and hope always.

First for foremost God bless Larry's family and also the family of the extremely confused, full of hate and I'm sure he really doesn't even know why boy that shot and killed Larry. No matter what the outcome of his trail will be no matter what the outcome of any lawsuits filed. None of that will bring back either child and they have both in someway left this earth far to soon and much too young.

HI, MY YOUNGEST SON IS GAY AND I COULD NOT LOVE HIM MORE OR LESS THAN MY OLDEST SON WHO IS A MARRIED HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER WITH A YOUNG SON. THIS IS THE WORST TRAGEDY I HAVE EVER HEARD. MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU. YOUR SON IS STILL BEAUTIFUL. HIS SENSLESS DEATH WILL SERVE A PURPOSE TO ENLIGHTEN PEOPLE ON LOVE & ACCEPTANCE. THIS WORLD NEEDS TO LEARN A LESSON FROM THIS TRAGEDY. LARRY DID NOT DIE IN VAIN. TAKE COMFORT FROM KNOWING THAT, PLEASE. GOD BLESS YOU. I KNOW YOUR HEART WILL ALWAYS HURT FROM YOUR LOSS.

To the parents of Larry: I am just learning of your tragic loss. It has saddened my heart to read Larry's story. No matter what anyone thought of him, no one had the right to take his life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

I have just finished reading the article posted on MSN this morning about your son. I am deeply saddened that we live in such an intolerate world. I have a grown daugther and a son a year younger than Larry. Even in the South there are parents like myself who are trying to raise our children to be accepting of others and love others no matter what the differences may be. Your son's life is a true testimony and will hopefully enlighten and educate so many around the golbe. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and know that he didn't die in vain. The story has touched my life this morning on the other side of the U.S. and I will pray for your family daily that God will help comfort you in these trying times.
