my heart is so sad that i do not know what to do i wish that the people in the world who play like they have no sins and do wrong to others will have to answer to god when the time comes . they also will have children and god do not sleep . all that goes around comes around may the angel keep him.

I spent most of my life hiding in fear just because of awful events like this. I am deeply saddened by this and it makes me sick that American society has created such a stigma around homosexuality that the mere act of attraction is enough to make someone kill. I cried when I heard this news and I hope the family finds the strength to move on. Wherever you are Larry I hope you know you are a hero to me for being who you wanted to be instead of cowering in fear. Hopefully what happened to you will somehow make a difference.

As a man, I understand the pressures to conform to heterosexuality...I just happen to be straight, so I've never had to face head-on the issues that you tackled every day. Your courage is truly admirable. Thank you.

I've just recently heard of this story from a friend, and this story is truly disgusting to the very core. While I myself am heterosexual, I think gay's are very nice people whom I don't mind at all. I wish you all the best, and my prayers go out to larry and his family. If someone can stop homophobia, it'd be you guys.

I just really think its sad when people do these things. Not thinking about their actions. No matter the way the person was they were still the same as all of us. Its sad to hear stories like this but some people are so sick and do these kind of actions that have us thinking. I have family members and friends who are gay. I dont care I dont judge people for who they are I only judge them on how they treat me. People need to understand that everyone has a right to live their lives the way they want to. Hopefully, some day these people who do these actions will realize the hurt they cause others. It gets me mad to hear people talk about others because of the way they are. People need to look at themselves and judge themselves before they judge others.

i am sad about this whole thing...2 of my family members are openly gay...but i believe that the killer took larry asking him to be his valintine as a threat and the only way that he could eliminate the problem was to kill.i think that this is horrible and that you shouldn't hate any one just because they are gay etc...everybody is created equal..the only person that should judge some is god and gos only.
im so mad right now...i think nobody should deserve to die over there sexuality..this whole thing is crazy...beeing gay is not a bad thing...people shouldn't resolve all their problems in violence...the killer could have told larry no and maybe have explained himself to larry...larry was a inoccent young boy that loved himself and the people around him...he didn't deserve to die so horrible as he did...that's just not right...i send my wishes to the family and that he's in a better place...in the end the killer will get his justice and so will larry.

First Matt Shepard, then Larry King. When will people accept gays for who they are? Homophobia is a plague to society, a terminal cancer that eats away at people's souls.
Rest in peace, Larry. And to his family: I am so sorry for your loss.
