My son told me about silent day at school and he even gave a little paper with Larrys accident on it, the dedicated the day at Monroe High School Rochester NY to Larry. Until today I did not knew exactly what happened and when. It is so sad that our kids are going to stuff like this one every day. Im really sorry for what happened to Larry, he was a beautiful kid, God will take care of him now. He is just a little angel that left us. God Bless the family and friends. And remember, he is in a better life now. We just need to pray for him and pray that this violence stop. God Bless our kids.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Larry's family and friends. I was so moved by his story that I had to leave some commments in his guest book. I feel that the world is deprived of a beautiful person with Larry's passing. While I wish we could have Larry back, I hope that since we must suffer his absence that perhaps more love, understanding, and tolerance might come to more and more people of our society. I see Larry as a young man who wanted to be loved: it is tragic that hate and bigotry ended his life. Rest in peace, dear soul!

I just learned of this story tonight while I was browsing through youtube, I can't help but be so sad for Lawrence and his family. This is so tragic and would have been priveleged to have known him. He is a true inspiration to me and many others from what I can tell. His story will never be forgotten and will continue to have a big impact for many people in a positive manner. My condolences go out to Lawrences family.

Reading about Larry in newsweek broke my heart. I could not stop thinking of him so I did a search locating this webpage. I am neither gay nor do I know personaly know anyone gay but believe all should have the opportunity good or bad to pursue their own way in life without fear of hate, harm or death from those who disagree with their lifestyle. I sincerely hope the D.A. prosecutes Larry's killer as an adult. Larry deserves justice. HEY, you people WRITE the movie industry responsible for making movies like badgirls or worsethat inspired the 'burnbook' that ciculated at Larry's grade school. Peace To All

May God bless the family. Lawrence is in a much better place now, with no pain, and no hurt. While I never knew Larry, one thing is for sure - I will never forget Larry. This story touched me when it first happened and it still pulls at my heart strings today. I know he was a beautiful person. God needed another angel...
